Braxton-Hicks: A Review

3 solid hours of Braxton-Hicks contractions before bed? Fantastic!

From this experience I've learned a few things about myself and others...

1. ContractionMaster.com is excellent. Only, you have to be able to tell when the contraction ends, and after a while that becomes difficult to do.

2. I am extremely simple-minded. I have a contraction, then it stops and I think, "phew, glad that weird pain is over" and then am convinced that there's not another one coming. I do this in cycles for a while. "Oh, weird pain... oh, it's gone, no problem... oh, weird pain again-- how strange!...oh, it's gone, no worries..." It takes a while until I realize there may just be a pattern to this nonsense.

3. My aversion to L&D will probably end up keeping me home until either my water breaks or the pain becomes fairly strong. I figure, if I have to be having contractions either way-- practice, real, or otherwise-- I may as well do it at home.
