I've been told to write a blog for a very long time (which I suspect is my husband's way of telling me I'm opinionated), so here I am. I have no personal opposition to being a blogger per se, but there's one title that is thrown around with such vitriol that I want no parts of it despite being high risk for that very same thing... "Mommy Blogger."
This category title has been used to describe otherwise boring people documenting their respective adventures into parenthood with all of the predictable foibles, product reviews, and self-righteous indignation. I'm not so deluded so as to think that I'm immune from falling into this same sort of pattern, but, I do pledge-- for both my own sanity and the written documentation thereof-- to have adult-related posts as well.
I do not pledge to remain neutral on politics, product reviews, religion or people you'll never meet. As mentioned earlier, I tend to have strong opinions on these same subjects.
All that said, let the unapologetic blogging begin.
